Our Story

B. Elevated began with a simple desire: to create a beautiful space where people could step away from the busyness of life, gather together, create something meaningful, and leave feeling a little more elevated than when they walked in.

When I first started this journey, I thought a lot about luxury, the beauty of the space, the products we created, and the experience we provided. But as B. Elevated has grown, so have I.

My faith in Jesus Christ is at the center of my life, and increasingly, at the center of how I lead this business. Entrepreneurship has taught me that I cannot do this in my own strength. I depend on God for wisdom, direction, provision, and the courage to keep going when I cannot see what is ahead. He has continually reminded me that true value isn't found in things. It's found in people.

Luxury isn't simply what sits on a shelf, what something costs, or how beautiful a space looks. It's how people are welcomed. It's having a place to slow down, create, laugh, celebrate, and connect. It's being seen and cared for. And most importantly, I've learned that it isn't our things that carry the light. God's light shines through the people He has created. 

That revelation has changed the way I think about B. Elevated.

Today, our mission is still to provide a safe, welcoming and beautiful creative space for Houstonians and visitors alike, but we're becoming even more intentional about community about being the lamp that shines in Houston so that God is glorified. Whether you come for a date, a birthday, time with friends, family, or simply by yourself, I want there to be a seat for you. You may come in to create a fragrance, but my hope is that somewhere in the process, you also experience connection.

B. Elevated is also deeply personal to me because it is a family business. My children are part of this journey and part of the reason I continue building. They have watched the victories, the pivots, the difficult seasons, and the moments when all I could do was trust God for the next step. I hope what they see isn't simply their mother building a business, but a woman learning to depend on the Lord as her strength and allowing Him to lead what she has been entrusted with.

Ultimately, B. Elevated belongs to Him.

Scripture says, “For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” 2 Corinthians 2:15

That's what I pray B. Elevated is: a sweet aroma of Christ.

Not because everyone who walks through our doors believes what I believe. You don't have to. You are welcome here. We are all people created by God and called to Him, and I want every person who enters this space to be met with His love, genuine hospitality, kindness, and creativity.

So while fragrance is what we create, people are why we're here.

Come create something that smells beautiful. Stay awhile. Connect with someone. Celebrate something or simply enjoy being present.
